goseebe
goseebe is a way of thinking that can be employed in any walk of life. How can we, as people, be true explorers of the world?
First, we must be willing to go somewhere different. Get out of our comfort zone. Challenge ourselves in new situations.
Then, we will be able to see new things. Our thoughts are able to evolve. Our perspectives can shift.
And once this happens, we are new people. Experiences lead to change – within ourselves and the world.
Scenic Byway 24, UT
An immersive, self designed, learning experience.
As a student in the University Honors Program at the University of Cincinnati, I was granted funding for a 2-week roadtrip through the Southwest in which my goals were to learn about the history of America through National Parks and Monuments, as well as reflect on what it meant to me to be an American citizen and a citizen of the world.
I was responsible for researching the history of the National Parks—pre-roadtrip, creating the itinerary and budget for the trip, mapping out the route, designing the branding, website, and Instagram page for the project, documenting the trip daily through photographs and blog posts, and creating a series of learning outcomes to guide the trip and my reflection.
